Psalm 17:15

We must understand that God’s primary purpose in our lives is not to meet our needs but to conform us into the likeness of His Son….

While it is true that God is our Father and our Provider, and while it is equally true that God desires only the best for us for all eternity, God is not present in our lives to do things our way. He is present in our lives  so that we might desire and choose to do things His way.
